Golf Instruction, Learn to Golf, Play Better Golf, Golf Tips

Millions of people around the world play golf, and the vast majority of golfers cannot consistently break 100. In fact, the average score of golfers has not come down over the last 25 years, in spite of the fact that the equipment is better, courses are kept in pristine shape, balls fly farther, putts go straighter, and millions of golf videos have been sold.

Why?

Many claim that the standard methods of teaching golf present the "fundamentals" of the game in ways that beginning golfers have no hope of understanding or quickly mastering. In other words, your average golf teacher is not very good. Others claim that the game itself is inherently difficult and brimming with "variables" that make it almost impossible for the beginning golfer to make significant improvement without years and years of experience.

No matter what you think it is not seriously open to question that some practice is better than no practice, and virtually any instruction is better than none -- if for no other reason than it moves you one step closer to finding some answers that help your golf game.

Here are some resources that may help you improve your golf game.

theWEG.com is the official home of The Weekend Golfer. One of my special desires is to do a study of, and make special sections for some of the "classic" golfers like Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, as well as some of the more interesting historical figures like Moe Norman, Lee Trevino, and others.
