No matter what sort of products or services you attempt to sell online, you will eventually consider creating an affiliate network to sell more of them. It is not easy deciding where to turn first when planning your affiliate program. In this series of articles I review some of the sites that might be helpful.

This site, brought to you by Shawn Collins, has to be one of the deepest, most comprehensive sites on the web dealing with affiliate marketing. And unlike many "resource" sites which are little more than online stores for affiliate products, Shawn Collins attacks Affiliate Marketing from the Product Manager side as opposed to the affiliate side.

In other words, if you or your company have a product, or you are thinking of developing one that might be sold through an affiliate network, then this site could be your most important source of information.

Shawn Collins also has produced a book, along with Frank Fiore, called "Successful Affiliate Marketing for Merchants", available at what seems like the pretty reasonable price of $18.70 in downloadable form.
