    Yeah I agree that it fits the song perfectly – adds to the message that they fear their music is becoming a meaningless carnival of sorts. It just ruins the continuity for me though… I’m like, getting all pumped to the fast tempo of the song, but then it slows down and becomes all artsy. Meh.

    I think it makes this song one of the best on the album. It’s different and a little odd, but it fits the message of the song perfectly.
