Veteran Enlow served with the 71st Infantry division in the European theatre. In fact Ralph had 5 brothers who all served and all came home safely. Ralph was a student in college, many thought school could keep them out of service...nope...Ralph went to Basic Training in California and advanced traing at Fort Benning, then shipped off to Europe landing in France in January 1945. He entered combat near Rhine River in March and pushed with General patton all the way through France, germany adnAustria...almost to the Czech border. After marriage and the birth of their first child papers came for deployment to Koread but deferments kept him home with family. Ralph is proud to have served with General Patton and assisting in captutre of 100K of the enemy. Thank you Ralph for your service.

You look too young to be a WWII Vet! My grandpa fought up the Rhine too. Happy Veterans Day!
