2 metres of water is possible. A couple of suburbs were full of flooded water. Some people went on roofs.

The floods were pretty bad in Mackay. I mean I live in Calen, which is 50 minutes north of Mackay, and we absouloutly got battered with rain. The school was closed, but no where near flooding like that. Just tremendous!!
